One-on-One Private Photography Workshops

I am happy to announce that I am now offering personal, one-on-one workshops.

Learn how to use your camera more effectively, improve your photography and/or learn new post-processing/editing skills to improve your images by participating in a private, one-on-one workshop where you have the instructor's full attention. No raising of hands or competing with others for instructor attention.

The Workshop

The workshop is an 8 hour (one hour break for lunch) workshop with the sole purpose of improving your photography and post-processing techniques to create better images. You will work side by side with me. The workshop is completely customizable to your needs. For example, you may choose to focus on photography techniques, post-processing, establishing a workflow that works for you or choose to focus only on areas that need personal improvement. I will work side-by-side with you to help you realize the types images and quality that you wish to produce.

Topics May Include (amongst others)

• camera settings/exposure
• composition
• developing your vision/creativity
• camera techniques
• lighting techniques
• high dynamic range (HDR) techniques
• post-processing/editing/retouching techniques
• image cataloging
• developing and establishing a more productive workflow
• portfolio review, positive, constructive critique
• .. and anything else you wish to learn about photography

Equipment

We use Canon cameras and lenses but the workshop is not camera-specific. The heart of our digital darkroom is Photoshop and Lightroom on a Windows PC with a 27" calibrated display.

Location

Our modest home studio is located in Windsor, Ontario with conservation areas and beautiful parks within a short distance.

Fee

The cost of this private session is $450.00 CAD for the full day and is payable via cash, paypal, credit card (via paypal), certified cheque or money order. Payment in full is expected before the workshop commences.

Note: We cannot book more than 2 months in advance. All bookings require at least a 20% non-refundable payment with the balance of the workshop cost to be paid before the workshop begins.
